Hey, Did You Know? Keeping an imagePROGRAF printer up and running at its optimal performance level

We here at Professional Plotter want our clients all to be aware of the imagePROGRAF Firmware Update Tool V24.00.  This extremely useful tool helps ensure that an imagePROGRAF Printer* is running at its optimal performance level.  The tool works by searching for firmware updates on the Canon website.  Should an update for the printer be available, the tool which is launched by clicking an icon, will help the user identify the new firmware so that they can update their printer and the next time they go to print, they will be up-to-date and ready to go!

Installation & Use

Users simply launch the Firmware Update Tool and the software will search for imagePROGRAF printers that are found via a USB or Ethernet connection, and inform the end-user if any firmware updates are available for each device.  If a firmware update is possible for one of the imagePROGRAF devices listed, the software can connect to the internet to automatically download this firmware and update the device.  This will prevent the end-users from having to manually search to see if an update is available, and having to manually download this and update accordingly, saving himself/herself time and providing much more ease of use.
